Computer classes in Hazaragi
The Centre is looking for expressions of interest from anyone in the community who wishes to learn computer skills in Hazaragi. We have a dedicated trainer with vast computer experience and well versed in Hazaragi. These classes can improve communication skills, as student will be taught how to use emails, social media, and other online platforms to connect with others. Students will also be provided with knowledge and skills to navigate the digital landscape safely and effectively.

A fun filled week celebrating International Women's Week.
Monday 4th - Share a Story Celebrating being a Woman.
Tuesday 5th - Seekh Kebab BBQ in the Park. 12 pm - 12.30pm cooking and lunch at 12.30pm
Wednesday 6th - Creating artwork for the Art Wall in our new Drop in Lounge, your lounge away from home.
Thursday 7th- Opening of our International Women's Art Wall followed by morning tea.

Free Crocheting Classes
Our crocheting classes are a wonderful way to bring people together who share a passion for crochet, creativity, and socialising. Come in from 10 am and stay for as long as you like. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in our Drop - in lounge and perhaps bring in some lunch if you wish to make it a day. If you are an experienced crocheter, you can offer some guidance and tips to beginners. We also encourage you to share your projects and ideas with the team. Pick and Swap Clothing- gold coin donation
5th and 6th March, 10.30am - 12pm
Here is a great opportunity to exchange unused or unwanted clothing, with a chance to get an updated closet as well as support the environment. This fun pick and swap event is open to anyone who would like to donate new or gently used items and those who would like to purchase items for a gold coin each.

Drop In Lounge-Part of our Welcoming Spaces
We have a FREE large room furnished as a comfortable lounge room available during normal business hours that provides a relaxed and inviting space for various activities and gatherings. Our lounge room is designed to create a cozy atmosphere where small groups or individuals can socialise, unwind, or engage in leisurely activities. A great space for a book club, mother's group, board games, study group, weekly interest group, craft group or a men's discussion group
Women's Drop In Safe Space
Just Walk In
If you need a safe space, need time to be on your own, or you need a quiet space to study, PLEASE come into the Centre. We have a room furnished as a comfortable lounge room and we also have other spaces available including a safe place to study. There is no charge to use any of the Centre's facilities.
Weekly/Monthly Men's Groups - FREE
All language groups invited
The Centre has a large, friendly room furnished as a comfortable Lounge Room available for FREE for Weekly/Monthly Men's Groups. Maybe start up a Merinda Park Friends Club. Men's Groups can book the Drop In Lounge Monday to Friday during normal business hours. Groups can discuss books, seek advice from each other, find mentors, play chess and board games over coffee and biscuits. Groups can be conducted in any language. Maybe set up a Multicultural Friendship Group

The Centre has a large, friendly room furnished as a comfortable Lounge Room available for FREE for Weekly/Monthly Women's Groups. Maybe start up a Merinda Park Friends Club.
