Our English courses

We have English classes at three levels, to suit you wherever you are at in your English journey.

  • Beginner - for learners who are new to English

  • Intermediate - for learners who know some English and would like to gain more confidence

  • Advanced - for learners who are confident with English but would like to understand grammar, sentence structure and build your vocabulary.

Beginner - Starting from the Basics - PL1

What will you learn?

  • Start speaking English, learn how to talk to other people and have conversations

  • How to introduce yourself and speak simple sentences such as ‘Today is Monday’

  • Ask and answer simple questions

  • Enjoy fun activities to learn the alphabet and numbers, read simple words and signs

 

Perfect if you are new to English.

 

Mondays: 9:30am-12:30pm 

Tuesdays: 9:30am-12:30pm

Intermediate - Build your skills - L1

What will you learn?

  • Improve your spelling and grammar

  • Speak more confidently in conversations

  • Learn new vocabulary for work and everyday life

  • Write clearer sentences and short paragraphs

  • Understand longer conversations and texts

 

Ideal if you know basic English and want to improve your skills and confidence.

 

Mondays: 9:30am -3.00pm

Advanced – Strengthen Your Skills - L2

What will you gain?

  • Improve advanced grammar and sentence structure

  • Expand your vocabulary for work and study

  • Speak clearly and confidently in group discussions

  • Write detailed emails, reports and letters

  • Understand complex texts and conversations

Great if you are comfortable with everyday English and want to refine your skills for employment, further study, or professional communication.

 

 Thursdays: 9:30am-3:00pm

Advanced English for Employment and Further Education - Part 1 (Part 2 runs in Term 4)

What will you gain?

  • Improve your English communication skills for employment and further study​

  • Build confidence speaking in professional and academic settings

  • Strengthen your grammar, punctuation and sentence structure 

  • Learn to write clear and effective emails and paragraphs 

  • Expand your vocabulary for workplace and educational environments

  • Develop skills to express ideas, opinions and experiences confidently

  • Improve your understanding of spoken and written English 

  • Gain practical skills that can support job applications, interviews and further education opportunities

     Tuesdays: 9:30am - 2:30pm

     Wednesdays: 9:30am - 2:30pm

Childcare available while you study

We have spots available in our nurturing and fun Day Care, which prioritises the wellbeing and growth of every child.

 

Children from 2 months to 5 years can attend from 8.30am until 4.30pm up to 5 days a week.

About our Pre-Accredited courses

Our Pre-Accredited courses are a great way to gain skills and build your confidence, whether you are planning to go on to study at TAFE, find a job, or you just want to learn some skills and meet new people. We have learning packages available comprising multiple courses to meet your needs, enquire for details.

For our pre-accredited classes, we chat with every student beforehand at enrolment to ensure the class is a great fit.

 

Classes run during school terms.

 

Pre-Accredited courses are funded by the Adult, Community and Further Education Board, which is in the Victorian Government Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions. This allows us to keep our prices low for green Medicare card holders.

 

Please note: All programs and classes offered are dependent on enrolment numbers, and may be altered or rescheduled as needed. We do not offer refunds on courses or programs unless there are extenuating circumstances.
