Committe of Management
At the AGM in March of each year, the Committee of Management positions are vacated and members wishing to stay are nominated for re-election. At this time we also ask for new members to join and this is a good time to put your hand up. All committee members are elected for 1 year. The committee meet once a month on the 2nd Wednesday (which can be changed in school holidays) at which time reports from the CEO, all Managers and Co-Ordinators are tabled along with the Treasurer’s report for review.
The Committee at MPLCC is responsible for policy and direction of the programs offered. They ensure that all programs offered are run in accordance with Government regulations, guidelines or standards and reflect the Vision, Mission Statement and Values of MPLCC. They are also legally responsible for the financial management of the programs provided.

Volunteer maintenance person
If you are retired or looking for a way to get involved in your community or contribute to a cause you’re passionate about then Merinda Park always has odd jobs or maintenance that can be done.
Sometimes toys in childcare get broken and just need a little TLC, light globes need changing or the garden needs a bit of a clean up. The list can be endless. The time spent around the centre can be flexible depending on work needing to be completed and the volunteers availability.
Volunteering can also be a chance to make new friends and learn new skills, gain experience or share your expertise.
