MPLCC is a not for profit community managed and owned organization run by a volunteer committee of management. The Centre is able to provide pathways for those who are pursuing a career or to further their education at Merinda Park or to continue on at other educational institutes. Community education provides learners with the opportunities of learning for life through low cost, flexible and supportive courses with highly skilled and qualified tutors to assist you. Merinda Park is a safe and friendly environment for those just starting out or those looking to complete a chosen course. Please drop in and speak with our staff about your needs whether for educations options or recreational and hobby choices. We are open for everyone. Learning is for everyone – for work for fun or employment we are there for you.

Confidential, professional counselling appointments are available at the Centre. Appointments are 60 minutes duration and fees are on a sliding scale based on income. The Counsellor is now available TWO days per week in the Annex (next door to the Centre). Appointments can be made for a MONDAY or THURSDAY. For further details please contact reception. Minimum cost is $11.00 per session. |

| BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
For primary school children: Before-school care commences at 6.30am and after-school care closes at 6.00pm. Breakfast is provided before 8.00am. Afternoon snacks are provided. Children are taken door to door, to and from local schools in the two Community Centre bus. more... SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
OCCASIONAL CARE
For under school age children 0 - 5 years: Casual and regular bookings are available. Three hours sessions 9.30am - 12.30pm, Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri Bookings are essential. Main Hall - seats up to 80/100 people. Studio - seats up to 15 people. Computer room - 10 networked student computer workstations & central study area. General facilities - a fully equipped kitchen with commercial oven, dishwasher and central island bench.
