Adult Migrant Education Services (AMEP)

Reading, writing and maths classes are available for people with different levels of conversational english, reading, numeracy and writing skills.

Class dates and levels are by arrangement after an interview.

If students meet the requirements they are permitted to 510 hours of free English classes.

Skills for Education and Employment (SEE)

If you need to improve your reading, writing and maths you may be eligible for FREE training under the SEE Program. As a minimum requirement you must be of working age (15 to 64 years), registered with Centrelink and not a full time student.

Class dates and levels are by arrangement after an interview. All potential students must first register with Centrelink or their Job Network Agency (Job Search Agency).

Certificates of General Education for Adults (CGEA 22234VIC - 22238VIC)

These classes cover various levels of literacy and numeracy training. They are for students of all ages who were born either in Australia or overseas. Classes are taught by specialised trainers to meet the specific needs of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) students as well as adults who left school early, missed out on primary or secondary education or took a long break from formal education and want to prepare for further study.

Do you know a little English and want to learn some more, but can't come to a class during the day? Our evening classes will help you improve and develop communication and language skills for everyday life or the workplace. The evening classes will offer lessons to improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. This class can cater to the needs of people from English and non-English speaking backgrounds.
